Our Assessment: The Ithaca Model 37 was based on a Remington Model 17 design by John Browning and John Pedersen. With its unique bottom ejection design, it not only protects the sides of the action to the elements, but makes it easy for both right and left hand shooters to load and eject rounds. The Ithaca Model 37 has the longest production run for a pump-action shotgun in history, surpassing that of the Winchester Model 12 that had originally inspired Ithaca to produce pump shotguns. This is a nice looking shotgun that ought to work wonders on the trap range.
CA Legal or CA Private Party Transferable: This shotgun can be transferred in California.
