Sights / Optics: This rifle is mounted with a rear semi-buckhorn ladder sight with a fine elevation adjustment and a tall gold bead front sight. Bother are dovetailed into the barrel.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are dark walnut with a plain, straight grip. The buttplate is checkered black plastic marked “Marlin”. The LOP measures 13 1/2”. The stocks rate in about AS-NEW overall condition.
Type of Finish: Blued Barrel and Trigger, and Case Hardened Frame, Receiver and Lever.
Finish Originality: All Original
Bore Condition: The bore is dark and the Ballard rifling is shallow. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99.5% of its metal finish. The bluing on two of the receiver screws shows wear, but the slots are undamaged. The markings are sharp and clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly, and is VERY smooth. We have not fired this rifle.

Our Assessment: Cowboy Action Shooters take note!! This rifle is a factory tuned to meet the demands of competition shooters, and except for the bluing on 2 screws, there isn't a mark on it.
