Buyer Tip: If you're the High Bidder in an auction when it closes, don't assume you're the final High Bidder. Someone could outbid you in the final seconds of the auction if your Max Bid isn't high enough. You're not the high Bidder until you've been notified by email that you are. Seller's Description

High Standard Longhorn Convertible 22-22 mag

NEW!!! High Standard Longhorn Convertible Presented for auction is a NEW High Standard Longhorn Convertible. This pistol shoots 22 short, long, long rifle and 22 Magnum rim fire ammunition. This weapon is in the original box with all the original paperwork. I acquired this weapon from the owner of a gun shop that closed over 20 years ago and have had it in my gun cabinet ever since. I had the weapon checked by a gunsmith and he says that maybe it has been test fired, but could only have been dry fired. He says the pistol is in excellent shape. The only thing he saw on the weapon is that some rust appears to have developed on the Patridge Front Sight. (have included closeups of both sides of the sight). The gunsmith said that this could be easily corrected but I will not as it is part of the pistols heritage. However, the new owner may chose to do so. I collect coins and want them to be original. These older High Standards are getting very hard to find, new ones are almost impossible. I contacted a High Standard Collector and was told that the serial number indicated that the pistol was probably manufactured in the early 1970's. The dealer told me that the weapon was about 20 years old when I obtained it so, this correlates with what the collector told me also. Don't let this fabulous old revolver slip away. This weapon will have to be shipped to an FFL dealer. Send me a copy of the FFL dealers license with payment for the pistol. Check your state and local laws for compliance prior to bidding. I will add $25.00 to the invoice for insured shipping
