Markings: The top of the barrel is marked “Navy Arms Co. Ridgefield N.J.”. The left side of the barrel is marked “Black Powder Only 44 Cal.” The right side of the barrel is marked “Made In Italy”. The left side of the frame is marked with a proof mark. The right side is parked with 2 proof marks and the date code “”AF”. The bottom of the grip frame is marked “Made In Italy / 196624” and the Pietta logo. The cylinder is marked with 2 proof marks.

Sights / Optics: This revolver is mounted with a V notch rear sight in the top of the hammer and a gold bead front sight.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are a smooth varnished light wood. There is one noticeable dent on the right grip panel, but no cracks nor chips. The grips rate in about Excellent overall condition.
Type of Finish: The barrel and cylinder are blued while the loading lever and hammer are case hardened. The frame and grip frame are brass.
Finish Originality: All Original.
Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp but shallow. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This revolver retains about 98% of its metal finish. There are a few minor handling marks on the brass frame and a few minor surface scratches on the barrel. The Screw heads are sharp and undamaged. The markings are sharp and clear. Overall, this gun rates in about Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this revolver.
