This is a decent recreation/reproduction of a model 1880 US
Army Hunting Knife! Blade is 8 1/2" long & about 2" wide at
ricasso. Brass guard, wood grip. Leather scabbard with
brass hardware. Does not have any cheesy import marks like
Pakistan, India or Mexico, etc. Buy it here at a fair
price represented as what it is, or buy it aged down &
being passed off as original for big $ somewhere else (as
often is the case with these). These are decent quality &
Great for re-enacting or display, etc. ( I sell these to US
Army Horse Platoons, Parade units, etc). Nice looking set &
very hard to find. These are very limited production run.
