Mosin Nagant 91/30 Sniper 7.62x54R Rifle w/ PU Scope
This is a Mosin Nagant 91-30 7.62x54R Caliber Bolt-Action Rifle. It has a PU 3.5 Power Scope with mount, a front sight globe with post, rear sight with graduations from 1 to 20, two barrel bands with band springs, bolt with a long bent handle, and one cleaning rod. The overall length of the handguard measures 17 7/8". The stock has finger grooves, crossbolt, web canvas sling, and metal buttplate. The overall length of the rifle measures 48 5/8”.
The barrel is stamped with a star shape and inside it is an arrow, underneath is “1943” and the serial number “A02--”. The magazine body, receiver, scope mount, buttplate, and bolt have matching serial numbers. The rifle is stamped with an import marking near the muzzle of the barrel “CAI ST ALB VT”.
There are numerous chips, dings, deep scratches, dents, and finish wear on the stock and handguard. There are many proofmarks on the stock, such as the square with a diagonal line stamped on the right side of the butt of the stock. There are rust spots and wear on the surface of the scope mount and action. The bore and rifling are in good to very good condition.
The rifle passed the safety check and test-fire. But the rifle has not been completely taken apart in order to inspect each individual piece. There may be some variations in the description due to this. Overall, the rifle is in fair to good used condition. Please check the photos below. Sold As-Is.
