Colt resumed production of its legendary Single Action Army Revolver in 1956, sixteen years after the original run was terminated. Over 73,000 Second Generation SAA Revolvers were manufactured until production was again interrupted in 1975.
The four standard calibers of the Second Generation were: .45 Colt, .44 Special, .38 Special. and .357 Magnum, as presented in this display.
The hand-made display case is 8½" wide x 9½" tall x 2¼" deep, and is constructed of solid wood moulding and veneer plywood, with a clear acrylic front. (May vary slightly from photo). You won't be disappointed in the craftsmanship. The cartridges are of recent production, and are completely inert, with no powder or live primrers.
