This bayonet is real military surplus... not reproduction. US Government surplus, suppose to fit the M1 carbines. It does not fit my full size Garand . The bayonet lug is too large, but it does fit the 30 caliber barrel.
It has a leather handle. No manufacture is stamped on it. It appears to have the original edge on it. It has a black finish.
