As near as I can tell this carbine has not been shot. There is no damage to any part of the gun just some light marks on the cylinder where the gun was cocked. Has dust in the barrel & cylinder from sitting in a gun cabinet or hanging somewhere. The brass has begun to take on a darkened patina. Made in Italy. I researched the marks on the barrel & found the "BA" to indicate the date of mfg 1991. The "AC" in a circle is Armi Sports logo. The "AC" is for Armi Chiappa founder Rino Chiappa's last name. Armi Sport, which produces an exceptional line of single shot percussion pistols like the French Le Page, Sharps rifles, and the Spencer rifle for Taylor's & Co.
