NO RESERVE!! Here's a highly collectible Walther PPK that was manufactured during WWII for the Nazi Police forces. These can be identified by the Eagle/C Police acceptance stamp on the left side of the frame. The German Police forces were quite different than the police forces here in the United States. The WWII German Police forces were composed of several para-military groups with notorious acronyms like SIPO, KRIPO, and GESTAPO. Later in the war, these Police forces were in charge of controlling the populations of the occupied territories and even saw front line service. This pistol is a "Variation 2" PPK Police. It features the highly polished blue finish, Eagle/C acceptance marking, and Eagle/N test proofs. The frame and slide are properly matching with the last three digits of the serial number etched inside the slide, opposite the ejection port. There are NO import markings. Overall condition is very nice with about 95-96% of the original high-polish blue finish remaining. There is some minor holster wear at the edges of the slide at the muzzle, a couple small freckles at the bottom of the front strap, and one tiny spot that appears to have been cleaned/lightly scratched on the right side of slide (see pics). The grips are in very good condition with one extremely small crack at the top of the backstrap. The mechanics are in perfect working order and the bore is excellent...bright with sharp rifling. This handsome pistol comes with two magazines...one original WWII magazine with finger extenstion base and a post-war "hole filler" for the magazine pouch. The holster is in very good condition with minor wear only. There are no rips, holes, or loose stitching. The holster is maker marked on the break-away flap with the classic crossed-rifles "AKAH" trademark of Albrecht Kind. This is a very nice example of one of the classic German sidearms.
