High Bidder in an auction when it closes, don't assume you're the final High Bidder.

high enough. You're not the high Bidder until you've been notified by email that
you are. All Auctions are conducted in Pacific Time.
There is nothing on this stock to indicate who made it or where it came from, other then it came from my friends estate and he was always picking up stuff that he thought he might be able to use at flea-markets. No he didn't do this, I taught him better. It is a good looking piece of walnut, No cracks, No breaks, No knots, there is a chip broken out of the top of the wrist just back of the rear of the receiver tang that has been glued back in. Most likely broken out when the receiver was pulled out of the stock when it was glassed. This is a heavy stock, feels like the butt might be filled with lead. The White Line butt pad is glued on.
I sell to U.S.A. ONLY. I ship via USPS Priority Mail. Cost will be figured at the close of the auction from my zip (31791) to the winners zip. Cost will include insurance. I take payment in USPS Money Orders or Certified Bank Funds ONLY. NO PAYPAL!

Q:
Dear sir, I have entered a bid on this item and I thought it was 7 7/8 inches between the bolt holes so it would fit my mauser std. large ring action. But after looking at the tape have put there closer it looks to be 8 3/4 or so between the bolt holes. Can you forgive me and withdraw my bid if this stock is not 7 7/8 inches between the bolt holes? I am sorry and i sure hope you can. Thanks thomas0693att***GunAuction***

A:
Thomas0693att: Man,you caused me to have to do some work. I started looking at the Mausers I have and it took a while before I found an old bean-field gun that was still a standard large ring, most of mine are Yugo's or have been modified for shorter or longer cartridges. To be on the safe side I used a 12inch steel rule and came up with 7and 7/8 inches. Then tryed the tape that was used in the picture to do no more than show approximate overall length and came up with 7and 7/8 inches. To be sure I took the bean-field gun and measured it and got 7 7/8 also, then I tryed the rifle in the stock, the action lined up but would not go all the way in but the bottom metal went in so we have a standard 7and 7/8 inch center to center on the stock bolt holes. Sorry about the miss alignment with the tape. Hope this settles your mind that you didn't make a mistake. Thanks for bidding. billbrown70
