This is a
beautiful high quality re-creation of a model 1860 Civil
War US Cavalry Officer's sword & scabbard! 34" curved blade
is 1 3/16" wide at ricasso & etched with US, Eagle, E
PLURIBUS UNUM, Panoply of Arms, Scroll, vines, etc. No
maker or import marks. Brass pommel cap & 3 branch Cavalry
guard with Officer's pattern floral, vines, foliage.
Leather grip with wire wrap. Matching steel scabbard with
brass throat piece, drag & mounts also with foliage
pattern. This is not a "Nuts & Bolts" Junk Pakistan sword
but a superb set rarely seen in this quality. A Beautiful
well balanced sword, that feels great in your hand, Ready
to display or wear. I have sold many of these to Military
Men for Presentation to retirees & other special occasions.
