This is a NEW metal sword scabbard for the model 1840 NCO sword or any other similiar style swords! Will also fit many Fraternal swords & can even be bent to fit model 1872 Cavalry & Artillery swords. Just check your blade length before purchasing. It is all metal & quite sturdy. Complete with throiat piece, mounts & drag. The hang rings are split rings & can easily be swapped out for solid rings if one desires. Overall length is about 33".
