THIS LITTLE GUY IS SOMEWHAT OF A MYSTERY; Looks like and H & R, but also Ivers and Johnson. May have been a contract gun or a prototype. Has MODEL SCOUT STAMPED ON TOP STRAP. Bore is good, rifling sharp. Bluing is thinning on the barrel and some checkering/spotting on the rest. Grips are two piece with finish flaking. No rear sight on this model, uses the top of hammer blade for sighting. Cylinder is free float until lock up , which is tight and true. A rare find for the serious H&R collector. 25.00 shipping, C & R WILL SUFFICE.----any questions, email laustin1801@gmail.com or call 352-750-1979----I HAVE BEEN ADVISED THAT THIS GUN IS ONE OF A HUNDRED PRODUCED UNDER CONTRACT TO A HARDWARE STORE IN ILLINOIS IN 1920,THUS THE LACK OF MARKINGS IS EXPLAINED.---VERY RARE.---
