Buyer Tip: If you're the
High Bidder in an auction when it closes, don't assume you're the final High Bidder.
Someone could outbid you in the final seconds of the auction if your Max Bid isn't
high enough. You're not the high Bidder until you've been notified by email that
you are. All Auctions are conducted in Pacific Time.
This is an original WW I cavalry officer’s sword. The Artilleria marking on the blade refers to the Spanish federal ordnance works where they were manufactured, not to the artillery corps.
The blade measures 33 ½ inches in length. The sword has patina here and there, but no real rust pitting. There is no cracking or chips on the wooden handle. Overall I would rate the piece as “very good” for its age. It comes complete with matching scabbard. “Toledo” stamped at the top of the scabbard.
Shipping via US Priority mail varies and depends on your location.
Sword ships with insurance to: Sacramento,CA - $16.00, Chicago, IL - $23.00,
Miami, FL - $25.00. I will charge what actual shipping and insurance is to your location.
