For auction is a semi-inletted walnut stock for a round bottom receiver. Remington Mod.700 or Mod.721, or might fit a Savage Mod.110 or other round bottom type. THIS IS NOT A DROP-IN TYPE INLETTING, it will have to be cut out in order for the action to fit. I have no idea who made it or how old it is. Except for the knot at the wrist it looks to be in good shape, doesn't appear to be dry and brittle. The knot doesn't look to me to be bad enough to effect the strenght of the wrist. Also has a part of the stock broken off just behind the bolt handle cutout, and I found another very small knot in the butt on the right side about 1 inch or so in from the end and 1 inch down from the top that is of no consequence. If I needed one I would not be afraid to build a rifle with it, but I don't have any use for the super magnums.
