German silver Rocky Mountain blade front and 2-leaf rear sights, with a pair of silver bands on the breech, some filled holes, and "H.W." on the bottom flat. No markings are visible on the border engraved lock, with a fish head hammer, German silver pistol grip trigger guard, and double set triggers with Hawken style reverse taper upper tang. Smooth straight wrist stock, with German silver fittings, silver escutcheons on both of the plains rifle style double barrel wedges, brass tipped wood ramrod, engraved patch box, raised cheekpiece and a border engraved buttplate. Condition is good as refinished, showing a mixed, artificial gray patina overall, with spotting. One of the escutcheons is a German silver replacement, and a wedge is absent. Stock has been lightly sanded and reoiled, with cracks and scuffs. Mechanically needs adjustment. Esitmate $4300
