WWI US M1916 Flap Holster, Clinton Saddlery 1918 F.W.T.
This auction is for a US M1916 Flap Holster for the Model 1911 pistol, from Clinton Saddlery, Clinton Iowa, marked CLINTON 1918 F.W.T. This holster is in excellent condition, leather subtle, not dry or cracked, original leather tie down missing. There is some the tell tale green copper oxide on the copper surfaces. The holster was issued (as marked on the holster) to Lt. C. S. Engle 0-423419 and 1st Lt Charles S. Engle 0-423419 is listed KIA in WWII. This is a really nice WWI/WWII collectible.

Thus, we prefer the Reserve Auction and the “HAGGLE” feature offered by Auction Arms. About 50% of our sales are completed via the Haggle. In a Reserve auction if the high bidder does not reach the reserve buy to end the auction the high bidder or the seller may institute what Auction Arms calls a Haggle a one-on-one exchange between buyer and seller to try and come to a mutual agreement on a price. For those items that are not on consignment we usually offer a convenient “Buy-It-Now” price.
