Someone could outbid you in the final seconds of the auction if your Max Bid isn't high enough. You're not the high Bidder until you've been notified by email that you are. Seller's Description

Bayonet Frog or Adapter M1 Garand Rifle, used

Each bid is for one belt adapter. Belt adapter used with British and Canadian style Web Belts to carry American style accouterments such as canteens and bayonets. This belt adapter is from Denmark and was used with the M1 Garand Bayonet. Has the steel rings for attaching to military web belt and scabbard hook from bayonet attaches to the rings on the other side of adapter or frog. All are well used and may or may not have markings. Some have ink writing or names written by the soldier that used them. Hanger sent will come off the top of the pile. No hand pick. The Danish army put the M1 Garand into service as the G M/50. Gevaer Model 1950 (1950-model rifle). There was no lend lease to Denmark during the war as they were occupied during the war, but Denmark did received a shipment of M1's sometime in 1950. There were about 20,000 of these rifles loaned to Denmark. These are the same rifles currently available from the CMP (civilian marksmanship program) Because they were on loan from the U.S. Denmark simply gave them back. If you have one of the CMP Danish M1 Garand rifles or plan on getting one, you need this frog as an important and historical accessory for your bayonet to go with your rifle.
