Our Assessment: A Ruger Mark I, II or III belongs in every shooters collection. This style .22 semi automatic pistol was the first offering of Sturm, Ruger & Co., the pistol that launched what is now America’s largest gun maker. This Mark II with 7” heavy barrel balances perfectly; it just “hangs” in the hand. It is both affordable and a pleasure to shoot, and is known for its surprising accuracy. If you have been put off by some of the changed features of the new Mark III, this is a great chance to pick up a Mark II.
CA Legal or CA Private Party Transferable: This pistol is not on the California “roster of certified for sale handguns”, and can only be transferred to a California resident as a private party transaction (PPT) at our shop in Simi Valley. This does not apply to out of state buyers.
