Buyer Tip: If you're the
High Bidder in an auction when it closes, don't assume you're the final High Bidder.
Someone could outbid you in the final seconds of the auction if your Max Bid isn't
high enough. You're not the high Bidder until you've been notified by email that
you are. All Auctions are conducted in Pacific Time.
This is an early WW2 type USMC KA-BAR knife that has seen use. It comes in an aluminum type WW2 Japanese sword scabbard that has been cut off made to carry this KA-BAR. The knife fits very well in this scabbard. The scabbard tip is crudely folded over to close the end of the scabbard. This knife and scabbard are not made for carrying on a belt, it is not balanced at all and I don't know one would carry it unless they slid it behind a belt. This looks more like a display item or shelf item than a carry item. There is a USMC Eagle, Globe and Anchor on the top of the pommel. This knife and scabbard show use, but still a nice looking set. Selling "as is" to the highest bidder.
