This is a decent recreation/reproduction of a model 1873 US Army Springfield Trowel Bayonet & Scabbard! Blade is 10" long & about 3 1/2" wide. It's just like the originals with twisting socket to lock it on your muzzle end. Leather scabbard with brass hardware & brass US button/rosette. I was able to get access to a decent old stock of these. They have variations of where the belt loop is sewed on. Some on one side & some on the other. Does not have any cheesy import marks like Pakistan, India or Mexico, etc. These are for the US Springfield Trapdoor Rifle. The Inside diameter of hole is .74 (about 3/4" of an inch). Easily sanded/filed larger if needed. Buy it here at a fair price represented as what it is, or buy it being passed off as original for big $ somewhere else (as often is the case with these). These are decent quality & Great for re-enacting or display, etc. Authentic looking set & very hard to find. Supply is very limited. Shipping is $11.99 in US.
