This is an 1849 COLT POCKET MODEL WELLS FARGO MODEL . Finish on the steel
is gone to gray with some serious old pitting, bore has light pitting but still 90% of the
rifling showing sharp, chambers lightly pitted. 40% of the silver plating still on the grip
frame and 100% mechanically sound. Two line address on the barrel {ADDRESS SAML
COLT NEW-YORK CITY}. Grips solid with some dents & dings as well as lots of use
marks on the rest of the gun. SN is 151420 indicating a Mfg. date of 1859. All numbers match, frame, barrel, grip frame & cylinder. If this one
could talk I would sit up and listen!
This is a pre-1898 black powder arm and no
FFL is required for transfer.
