U.S. Military Gatling Gun documents

This is a collection of 6 photocopied Reference documents pertaining to the the Military's use of and operating instructions for early Gatling Guns. In total 60 pages and 51 illustrations. The Gatling gun invented in 1861 by Dr. Richard Jordan Gatling is the most famous of all the mechanical machine guns. These photocopies show the military uses and handling of them. Includes: Circular I series of 1893 Course of Instruction for Artillery Gunners. Modern Guns and Mortars (1895); pages 27-47, Also A textbook of ordnance and gunnery, (1896): pages 590-600, And including From Farrow's Military Encyclopedia Vol 1, (1885) pages 269, 273-274, 747-752, Vol. 2, pages 241-243, 369. And included Volume V, REport on the Munitions of War, Paris Universal Exposition (1868), And also "Rrports on a Gatling Gun, Cal. 45 inch English Model, Having a New Pointing Apparatus, Reports of the War Department 1879, Vol. III Appendix 112, Pages 190-196. And last Report of the Chief of Ordnance. "Report on Multiball Cartridge for Gatling" (1879) Pges 197-200 with test fire results. Pages are in in excellent condition, not written on, not stapled, or holepunched. Sent unfolded protected in a secure envelope.
