Questions for Users
(Public)
Q:  FYI - that is the original barrel, merely rechambered to 32 Win Spl, likely back in the 1960's, like the many thousands of others rechambered to that caliber and 32-20, or 32-40. 06/02/2012
A:  Thank you for your comments. Although it is the original barrel it is not in its original configuration which was we believe was a .310 round, therefore under ATF laws it requires an FFL for transfer and is not considered a C&R. Thanks. Lew. 06/04/2012

(Public)
Q:  Is the caliber marked on the gun? could it be a 32-40? 06/12/2012
A:  Thank you for your question. Please see picture "2" the caliber is marked on the barrel top flat and we did try a 32 Win. Special round and it does correctly chamber. Thanks. Lew. 06/12/2012

(Public)
Q:  sir, I understand the FFL requirement but what is this DROS requirement ? I don't live in California. but Colorado. Rarely have to use AN FFL but am interested in this gun. what does my dealer have to do ?? also is bore pristine, ie no corrosion, rust, pits or damage and same for bore? thanks jim 06/13/2012
A:  Thank you for your question. Here is what we said about the bore in our write-up-"Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp and deep. There is no apparent erosion.". Regarding DROS that is unique to California buyers and is the "Dealer Record of Sale". Thanks. Lew. 805 285 0715 06/13/2012
