Gun retains 85% original parkerization. Excellent bore. Wood is fine with some dings and scratches, a couple scrapes on the left side. There are 3 factory grooves on the bottom of the barrel for a bayonet lug/heat shield assembly. There is also evidence of it having had one mounted at some point, however, it is no longer present. Original front sight. CYL choked. 20 inch barrel. All markings are clear. There are NO military markings on this gun. Has a canvas M1 Garand style sling on it. Made in 1968. Vietnam era. Slam fire. Serial number is 1016371
