Mechanics: The double action functions correctly. We have not fired this revolver.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: None

Our Assessment: This is a six shot, adjustable sight S&W revolver, one of the most versatile handguns one could hope to own. We believe it was owned by an LAPD officer, as it modified to double action only. (It may be returned to its original single action / double action operating system by a competent gunsmith.) This type of revolver has seen service the U.S. armed forces, law enforcement, and private security. It has been used for personal and home defense and still is a good choice for the purpose. It could also be used in IDPA and ICORE competitions by someone who wanted to maintain and improve their skills. This veteran revolver needs to go to a good home.

CA Legal or CA Private Party Transferable: This revolver is not on the California “roster of certified for sale handguns”, and can only be transferred to a California resident as a private party transaction (PPT) at our shop in Simi Valley. This does not apply to out of state buyers.
