Here we have a 1974 production Pre-Ban Colt SP1 serial number 348**. This excellent example of an early pre-ban AR15 has the "slab side" receiver, triangle handguards, early rear sight, and no forward assist. It is in great shape, showing only some light handling marks, and no rust, scratches or pitting. The barrel is marked C MP B and has a very bright, shiny bore with strong rifling. Has large hole take down pin (see photo). A1 birdcage flash hider and non-finger groove pistol grip as well as what appears to be the original sling. Rifle comes with one original 20 round magazine which is marked M16/M16A1 Cal. 5.56mm. I would consider this a perfect addition to any Colt enthusiast's arsenal. Yes, we will accept a Curio & Relic license, as long as the gun is on the ATF Curio & Relic list.

We ship handguns via Priority Mail, which takes 2-4 business days. Sorry, priority mail does not provide tracking numbers. We ship long guns via UPS Ground, which takes 4-7 working days. UPS sends a tracking number via email directly to the customer within 24 hours shipment. IMPORTANT: We are not able to provide tracking numbers over the phone.

We want you to be happy with your purchase. You have 3 days from the time of delivery to your dealer for inspection. If you are unhappy for any reason, please return it for a refund. Please note, guns may not be fired during the inspection period. We do not offer price adjustments. Shipping charges are not refundable. If you have any questions, please contact us before bidding.
