You are bidding on a superb Walther LP53 in .177 caliber. This lot includes everything you see in the photos. The box, the pistole in its baggy, the cocking assist handle, three front sight ramps, three rear sight blades, cleaning/clearing rod, barrel weight with wrench, original receipt, users manual in German with the test target actually shot through the cover. I will even include the pellet tin, but the remaining pellets are oxidized, so I do not recommend using them.
The serial number on the pistole is the same as printed on the manual and test target. The target shooter signed his name on the inside.
The dated sales receipt puts the purchase of this Walther at 1968 at a gunshop here in Troy, NY.
The gun functions fine and shoots very well with meisterkugelns. The bore is rifled and perfect. Note that this is NOT a hunting pistol. Velocity is low 400s with target pellets. Not enough power, in my opinion, for hunting. See my other auctions for hunting airguns.
