Factory-packaged sets of raised scope mounts, originally intended to permit the clear viewing of iron sights below the scope as a backup or for close range snap shots, but now particularly useful for the comfortable mounting of scopes with large objective bells and/or eyepieces, that would otherwise contact the barrel or receiver surface, or to mount scopes on rifles with high straight combs. Because the clamping rings are offset from the bases (in most models), these mounts provide considerable variance in scope positioning, eye relief adjustment, and elimination of interference with adjustment turrets.

These are complete sets, two base/clamping ring units, screws, hex wrench for the ring screws, and complete directions. Each base is mounted with two screws; each ring is clamped with four screws. The actual height of a mounted scope centerline above the receiver will vary slightly depending on specific receiver contouring, but will be about 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 inches in most cases. The “H” suffix sets add about 1/8-inch additional scope height.
