Sights / Optics: The gun is mounted with a single silver bead on the adjustable choke.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are smooth and lightly finished wood. There is a repaired crack at the wrist, this can be seen in the photographs and there are losses here as well. There is scattered marking and scratching to the wood. The LOP measures 13 3/4” to the end of the Mossberg recoil pad. The stocks rate in about Fair - Good overall condition.

Finish Originality: Factory Original
Bore Condition: The bore is bright, with just a bit of light fouling.
Overall Condition: This gun retains about 95% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows slight wear on the bolt and some surface marking to the top of the frame. Otherwise, this gun looks very well cared for. The Screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this gun rates in about Very Good - Fine condition, better without the wood.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this shotgun.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: There is one 3-round magazine provided.
Our Assessment: This is a much better shotgun than most people consider it to be. People have always looked down on bolt action shotguns – and we are not sure why. This is a strong, reliable and safe shotgun. The gun can handle 3” shells and feeds from a removable magazine. Utility and function were obviously the goals with this shotgun, though the gun has a nice appearance as well – despite the cracked stock.
CA Legal or CA Private Party Transferable: This shotgun can be transferred in California.
