Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are satin finished hardwood, there are a couple of very small depressions in the stock as well as a small chip on the top where the receiver meets the stock. The ramrod is broken off and missing 3”. The LOP measures 14” from the trigger to the center of the buttplate. The stocks rate in about Fine overall condition.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows two areas of exposed metal where at the receiver screws. There are 3 very small blemishes on the underside near the muzzle. The Screw heads are slightly disfigured but very serviceable. The markings are legible. Overall, this gun rates in about Fine condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this gun.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: None

Our Assessment: This is a cool little muzzle loading .45, with the simple under hammer design. We believe this is a reproduction which likely means that the steel is of good quality and will make this a very fun little shooter. The condition of the bore, nipple and other components indicate that this rifle may never have been fired. This will make a good brush gun for black powder season this year.

CA Legal or CA Private Party Transferable: This percussion rifle is not classified as a firearm and can be sold to anyone 18 years of age with valid ID.
