and completes rifles and handguns for police, military and civilian use. SSK Industries used Thompson Center flatside frames and applied industrial hard chrome finish prior to the introduction of stainless steel receivers. Most SSK handguns
are extensively customized in exotic calibers,
finishes, and various engraving options.
This specimen , manufactured by SSL in the 80s
has seen very little if any use at all, and may well be unfired except for a testing load. It chambers .50-70 rounds and also comes with a an additional .45-70 custom barrel with flash protector.
These pistols (without extra barrels and finishes) range in the Blue Book of Values from $1500-$1700 with extra barrels starting at over $250. This pistol bears SSK address on pistol with markings indicating “Hand filed and tested by SSK”. In addition, a very fine Thompson Center holster to go along with it. Great package!!!
