Guns For Sale - Winchester (Pre 64) -- WINCHESTER MODEL 70 PRE 64 300 H&H MAGNUM

HERE IS A RARE FIND. THE WINCHESTER MODEL 70 PRE 64 IN THE POWERFUL CALIBER OF 300 H&H MAGNUM. THIS RIFLE IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THE STOCK IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, AND FREE FROM ANY SCRATCHES OR DINGS. THERE ARE A FEW LIGHT HANDLING MARKS ON THE WOOD, BUT VERY MINOR. THE BLUEING HAS A LIGHT RUB SPOT ON THE UPPER END OF THE LOWER SIDE ON THE BARREL. THIS RIFLE IS IN ORIGINAL CONDITION, EXCEPT FOR THE WHITELINE RECOIL PAD THAT WAS ADDED. THE LENGHT OF PULL ON THIS RIFLE IS 13 3/8 INCHES. THIS RIFLE IS TOPPED WITH AN ALASKAN 2 1/2 POWER SCOPE. THE OPTICS ARE BRIGHT AND CLEAR. THE MOUNTING SYSTEM ON THIS RIFLE IS A STITH MOUNT. IT WAS QUITE COMMON FOR THIS MOUNT TO BE USED. IT COULD BE USED WITHOUT DRILLING ANY EXTRA HOLES ON THE RECEIVER OF THIS RIFLE. RIFLES IN THIS CONDITION ARE GETTING HARDER AND HARDER TO FIND. THE SERIAL NUMBER OF THIS RIFLE IS 108098, ACCORDING TO MY RECORDS THIS WOULD PUT A MANUFACTURER DATE OF 1949. AS FAR AS I CAN TELL THE REAR RECEIVER HAS NOT BEEN DRILLED OR TAPPED.
