One Man Crosscut Saw Rare Great Condition, This Human Powered One Man Drag Saw, is a turn of the century lever action drag saw for felling trees and cross-cutting logs. The saw frame is fully adjustable for setting up to saw at an angle (when the log is not lying level) or to fell a tree.

When completely folded, it can easily be carried from tree to tree. This is the general design of Marvin Smith's 1882 patent This tensioning device is patented by Frank Pahls, of Chicago. This Saw Pre-dating the rotary engine powered drag saws,

This is a fine example for demonstrations at shows or farm museums. The saw is approx 7 ft long when folded for transport and weighs approx. 80 lbs. The saw is in good working order, The wood is solid and retains almost all of its original red paint
