Antique British Yataghan Style Saber Bayonet
Offered herein is an antique British
“yataghan-style” saber bayonet which we
believe for use on an Enfield antique
military musket or Martini Henry rifle.
This bayonet measures 28” overall with a 22.5” blade.
The hilt and crossguard are made of steel and the grips are pressed leather. The end of the grip (metal) is mortised and extended with a slot inside.
The blade is unsharpened and without any nicks or pits however darkened in spots from age. The grips are sound with a couple of nicks and overall fine condition for its age.
