Markings: The choke is marked “—C—LECT—CHOKE---/MODEL 16 PAT PEND.” The top of the barrel is stamped “O. F. Mossberg & Sons Inc./NEW HAVEN, CONN., U.S.A./MODEL 190 16 Ga.2-3/4 INCH.
Barrel Length: 26” with porting 4” from end.
Sights / Optics: The gun is mounted with no sight, the bead is missing on the choke.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are nicely re-finished in a blond color, and appear to have polyurethane finish. There are a very few faint blemishes. The LOP measures 14”. The stocks rate in about Very good overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and shiny There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This gun retains about 85% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows loss from use and aging. The right side of the barrel show a couple of small areas of bare metal. The Screw heads are good and serviceable, with just a tiny bit of disfiguration on 2 of them. The markings are clear. Overall, this gun rates in about Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action operates correctly, but we have not fired this gun..

Our Assessment: Here is a sweet older shotgun with ported barrel, adjustable choke and a very nicely finished stock. We did not get a magazine with this one, but they can be found without too much hassle. Don’t miss your chance to get a shotgun with an unusual combination of cool features.
