This is an early Colt Model New Army Double Action Revolver in .38 Colt. This revolver was made for the U.S. Army as the Model 1894 and was delivered / inspected in 1896. Standard top barrel address/patent date (1884-1895) marking, "COLT. D.A. 38" on the left side and "P663 RAC" on the underside. The rear face of the cylinder is marked "RAC 663 P". "663" is present on the cylinder latch and crane with "RAC" on the left side of the frame. Matching numbers ("663") on the barrel, frame, crane, cylinder and cylinder latch. The butt is marked "U.S. / ARMY / MODEL / 1894 / No / 60 / 663". Smooth grip panels with the date "1894" over a clear script "DMT" cartouche on the left panel, a script "RAC" cartouche on the right panel, and "RAC" on the bottom of the left panel. The finish appears to have been re-blued and the trigger is gold, NO FFL required. All of our auctions are offered with NO RESERVE.

Payment Options: We accept Visa, Mastercard, and USPS Money Orders. There is NO CHARGE for credit card use. All other Money Orders, Personal and Business Checks will be accepted at the option of the seller and will be held until cleared by our bank. Payment must be received within seven (7) days of auction end or the item will be re-listed. Virginia residents must add 5% sales tax. Please do not bid if you do not intend to pay for and complete the auction.
Safety Notice: Buyer is solely responsible for determining that a used gun is safe to shoot. The firearms offered have not been test fired or disassembled but have been given a visual inspection only for auction purposes. It is recommended that every used firearm be inspected by a qualified gunsmith before firing. By bidding the buyer agrees to hold seller harmless against damages, injury, or death caused by defective merchandise.
State and Federal Laws: An FFL or C&R is required for firearm purchase. Buyer is responsible for securing an FFL dealer to furnish a copy of his/her FFL or C&R copy to the seller. A C&R copy will be accepted for C&R qualified firearms only. Please be aware of your states firearms and ammunition laws before bidding on an item. We must have proof of age when purchasing ammunition. A faxed or mailed copy of your valid drivers license is acceptable.
