This Colt is a real showpiece - don't miss this one!
The following is excerpted from the Blue Book Of Gun Values - Current Edition - and is offered to help establish the true value of this gun.
"Any reworking or refinishing has a negative effect on the value of a gun to the collector, and the amount varies depending upon the age of the gun, what was actually done and the quality of the workmanship. For example, an early black powder single action that has been expertly refinished by the factory or a qualified restorer is worth only 10 to 20% of what the same gun would be worth in original, mint condition."
Late Black Powder SAA (Mfg. 1890 - 1896, ser. no. range 130,000-165,000)Grading: 20% = $7,000. 10% = $6,000.
Add 10% for 43/4" Barrel.
