U.S. Cavalry marked Colt 45 cal., mixed serial numbers w/ frame being marked 9XXX. Barrel marked DFC, Ainsworth marked trigger housing. No visable cartouche, very good bright bore, with good rifling, 5 1/2" barrel, tight action and works as it should, good screws, correct barrel address, correct two line patent markings on frame. Historic gun, very collectable.
