Very rare ERA 1914 in 303 British. This rifle has both the front and rear volley sights and the brass stock disc. Receiver looks like someone added a small amount of cold blue. Barrel is a British replacement barrel with good rifling and no pitting that I can see. The rifle is import marked. The stock has some chips missing near the trigger guard that I have in the pics. Lots of dents in the forearm. The stock is not marked but does not appear to be sanded. There is a crack at the rear of the reciever (common) that should be an ez fix. The sling is a reproduction. The winning bidder may at their option purchase a WWI Remington Bayonet and sheath for an additional $125. Overall not a bad looking rifle considering how rate these are in unaltered condition. I am not a gunsmith and have not headspaced this rifle. I have fired it and it operated well. I recommend the winning bidder have a gunsmith check the rifle out. Must ship to an FFL or C&R . No overseas sales. I will ship this rifle to a C&R only in California I cannot ship to a California FFL as I am not registered with the California DOJ. Shipping is $35 to the lower 48 states, higher if you live in Alaska or Hawaii. Payment via money order, bank cashiers check or personal check. Postal money order or bank cashiers checks will ship right away. I expect payment within 7 days of auction close. Any other type of money order or personal check must clear my bank before shipping. If you live in the great State of Texas I must charge sales tax. 3 day not firing inspection if you do not like this rifle for any reason return it for a full refund (you pay the shipping both ways).
