Buyer Tip: If you're the
High Bidder in an auction when it closes, don't assume you're the final High Bidder.
Someone could outbid you in the final seconds of the auction if your Max Bid isn't
high enough. You're not the high Bidder until you've been notified by email that
you are. All Auctions are conducted in Pacific Time.
Here is the relatively rare Poultney’s Patent case version of the famous Civil War .50 Maynard cartridge. Similar to rounds made for the Gallager and Smith carbines, the case was made of coiled sheet brass covered with paper. This round is in excellent condition with some minor speckling on the paper. Accompanying it is a fired case in fair condition. A great addition to your Civil Way collection. Thanks for looking, and please email us with any questions PRIOR to bidding. Winning bidder pays $12 shipping (UPS ground). Post Office money order assures quick shipping; other checks are accepted, but must clear.
