Guns For Sale - AMT -- Automag II .22 Magnum

This is a 22 Magnum that I bought when I first turned of age to own a gun. This was brand new then. Serial H47268 Don's Guns in Indianapolis IN I tested it out at that time with about 3 clips that were given to me by the gun shop, and thought this gun to be very cool! All I can remember is being impressed with the 'flames' that come out of the barrel. I'm not a big 'gun' person and this was bought for keeping at home, as it has been since then. It's never been used since my original purchase, but I have had alot of fun showing it off when friends came over! Now I'm older and have concluded I need something of higher caliber for personal protection and not just something 'cool'. The gun comes with a box of 250 rounds of Winchester that are in the picture and the clip. I don't have the original box. There is an advisement that I've read that you have to use Winchester ammo for this type gun. Also, I have confirmed this is a 9 bullet clip +1 in the chamber.     Q:  do you have problem with gun ejecting the spent rounds?, or loading next round? 02/17/2012
        A:  I have only 'shot' the gun when I bought it, and that was about 18 years ago. I have googled the AMT Automag reviews and it does state in some sites that there can be a problem if the exact type of 'grain' bullet is not used. It has to do with the 'spring' and timing of the burned gunpowder. This is the reason the manual states to use only Winchester rounds. I'm hardly an expert, but there are some things that you just accept like using only AC DELCO auto parts. Don't trust the off brands if it is not specific for the product. The Winchester brand .22 Magnum is a 40 grain if it would help to compare to the other ammo types. You can see alot of videos on the gun if you goto youtube and search. Also, this auction site states that there is a 3 day examination period, so if your not happy with it, then you can return it. I have 5 boxes of 50 rounds that are included with this gun. 02/18/2012
