This is the Calvary Carbine built on the large ring Mauser 98 style action by DWM in Germany 1910-1911. The 22 1/2 inch barrel extends a half inch through the nose cap, hinged floorplate with the release in front of the trigger guard, extended bolt release lever, bayonet lug, and a tangent rear sight. Stamped on the left side of the ring in two lines is MAUSER MODELO…ARGENTINA 1909, on top of the receiver ring is the Argentine Crest, and on the left receiver rail is DEUTSCHE WAFFEN-UND .. MUNITIONS FABRIKEN, BERLIN. It is in caliber 7.65x53 and the bore is very good. It has a full length Mannlicher style stock that has darkened from age but is in very good condition The numbers match on the receiver, floorplate and bolt but not the barrel and stock. Payment Options: We accept Visa, Mastercard, and USPS Money Orders. There is NO CHARGE for credit card use. All other Money Orders, Personal and Business Checks will be accepted at the option of the seller and will be held until cleared by our bank. Payment must be received within seven (7) days of auction end or the item will be re-listed. Virginia residents must add 5% sales tax. Please do not bid if you do not intend to pay for and complete the auction.
Safety Notice: Buyer is solely responsible for determining that a used gun is safe to shoot. The firearms offered have not been test fired or disassembled but have been given a visual inspection only for auction purposes. It is recommended that every used firearm be inspected by a qualified gunsmith before firing. By bidding the buyer agrees to hold seller harmless against damages, injury, or death caused by defective merchandise.
State and Federal Laws: An FFL or C&R is required for firearm purchase. Buyer is responsible for securing an FFL dealer to furnish a copy of his/her FFL or C&R copy to the seller. A C&R copy will be accepted for C&R qualified firearms only. Please be aware of your states firearms and ammunition laws before bidding on an item. We must have proof of age when purchasing ammunition. A faxed or mailed copy of your valid drivers license is acceptable.
