Here is one I have had a while and have never ran it because I cannot get it identified, scroll down and see the scans. This round is similar to .50 Browning but the case is shorter it measures 82.5 m-m in length the head is 20 m-m in diameter, the bullet looks .50 cal or 12.7 m-m.
It appears to be loaded with a ball bullet that is dinged on the point. The headstamp makes me think its British but certianly it could be alot of things.
It appears it was mounted in the metal linked heavy machine gun belt. Could it be French, Italian or ? maybe someone can shed some light on it. It sells like all my auctions with never a reserve to the high bidder.
Just maybe we are looking at a sleeper here so get in and bid.
I believe this should be a true auction so I will start it out low with no reserve and let the collectors decide what its worth. Buyer to pay $14.00 UPS shipping this is a standard fee for shipping one cartridge or many sorry it’s so high UPS raised the rates. I can no longer ship orders under $15.00 for less than $17.00. From $15.00 to $25.00 will $15.00. I have do this because of rising shipping costs.
Most shipments of ammo now run from $14.00 to $17.00, but on amounts over $25.00 shipments it will still be $13.00. PLEASE BE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND HOW MUCH THE SHIPPING IS BEFORE BIDDING. I will need a copy of your FOID card if you live in IL. or MA. I will also require a signed statement that the buyer is over 21 years old and that no state or local law prohibits the ownership of the ammunition.
An FFL or CNR license may be sent in place of the last statement. Sales only to the lower 48 United States Alaska and Hawaii have to go by air I don't think ammo can. Please no foreign bids I cannot ship any ammo live or not overseas, to many laws and to confusing.
Also please note that I am selling collector cartridges they are old and many are relics I will not guarantee any collector round for shooting by bidding the buyer agrees these cartridges will be considered a collectors item and NOT! for shooting. I have collected cartridges for over 40 years I never specialized so I am not an expert on any particular one if you are in doubt about a cartridge please feel free to ask before bidding.

I take Visa, Master, Discover and American Express credit cards, money orders and cashiers checks. NO PAYPAL or GPAL. Please when corresponding about auctions won use your Auction Arms name or handle it will be easier to recognize than an email address so we can give faster answers. Many times a total is requested but by the time we can give it, more auctions have been won.
I like to serve everyone as soon as I can, but with multiple auctions won this can get confusing, I totally understand wanting to combine winnings and saving on the very high UPS charges and I am happy to accommodate. This takes time so please be patient.
