Steyr Model 1895 ( Steyr-Mannlicher M1895) long rifle. Very hard to find long rifle that has been converted to 8x56r, but not cut down to carbine length. This example is in excellent condition. Blueing is near 100%, and the stock is excellent as well, with only minor handling marks. Stock has beautiful grain as shown in the pictures. Bore is dark with strong lands and grooves. Frosting is evident, but no pitting. With some elbow grease, should clean up nicely. The bolt and magazine have a good amount of cosmoline in them, so the dark bore may just be dried cosmoline. I haven't done more than run a patch down the barrel. Very few of these rifles are around, and fewer yet are in this condition.
