Seller's Description

Guns For Sale - Winchester -- Model 1894 Models Masters Gauges and Madis Letter

MY LISTED ITEMS ARE AVAILABLE FOR SALE IN MY SHOP. SALES IN MY SHOP TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER THIS LISTING. I WILL END THE LISTING AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE IF THAT SHOULD OCCUR PRIOR TO THE SCHEDULED END. This is the Factory Masters and Models for the Model 1894 Winchester lever action rifle. Think of it, these have been handled by John Browning and individually made by the best craftsman Winchester employed. This is a museum quality set for the advanced Winchester collector, or investor as this is "one of a kind" and one of only a few such sets to have survived much less become available to the public. This is one of the specific Master and Model sets referred to by both Flayderman and Madis in their published material. I am not aware of any other images or photos published or made available to the public of such original sets. Many of these items are tagged with original brass, paper, and linen tags. They are in the factory labeled drawer. The oak display case is custom hand made. The image of the Madis letter is the first of three pages George Madis included when he sold this set. That complete original signed letter will be included with this set. The buyer will need to make arrangements to pick the set up in person or by verified personal representative. This must be paid for in cash, certified funds, or wire transfer within 3 days of the close of this offering. This set will not be released to the buyer until actual funds have transferred to my account. Please contact me with any questions you may have. Buyers may propose unique items in trade. THIS IS ALSO LISTED ON ANOTHER MAINSTREAM INTERNET AUCTION SITE WITH MORE INTERNATIONAL EXPOSURE. FIRST ACCEPTABLE OFFER OR "BUY IT NOW" WILL TAKE PRIORITY AND END BOTH LISTINGS. This is the second cycle for this listing. Please do not waste both our time by making offers like the one I just declined. Aside from being insulting it shows a lack of understanding of this item and it's historical significance. Don't both making offers under $60K as they will not be considered seriously and be immediately declined.
