Guns For Sale - Winchester -- Model 1897 Takedown 12ga 18.25in Barrel

Winchester Model 1897 Takedown in 12 ga with sawed-off 18.25 inch barrel. NRA condition: Good. Receiver is Serial No. 769xxx manufactured in 1927. Fore end, barrel and magazine tube is serial number 57347 manufactured in 1899. Receiver has turned to a dark pewter and buttstock has two hairline cracks, one on each side of wrist and there is a chip of wood missing from the wrist near the left side of the trigger guard. Barrel and magazine tube have lots of original blue with typical wear and some pinprick pitting in isolated areas. Bore is bright and lightly frosted. Action is smooth and crisp. This gun is perfect for cowboy shooting. C&R FFL eligible.
