Seller's Description

Guns For Sale - US Springfield Armory 50-70 -- 2nd Allin Conv. 1866 Trapdoor 1864 Lock w/ Bayonet

US Springfield Armory 2nd Allin Conversion, 1866 Breechlock with small eagle's head, 1864 Lock. caliber 50-70. Pictures show the worse parts. Left side of stock is in very good condition. Rifling is very good, mostly sharp lands and groves, does have some pitting. Wood has chips, dings and dents. Rear sight leafs look like replacements. I would say that maybe a screw or several have been replaced. I have shot black powder loads through it and everything seems to work great. Comes with cleaning rod, Original bayonet and scabbard. Bayonet is marked with an "H" and "US". Very good shooting grade rifle. This gun is an antique but must be at least 18 years old and provide proof of age with ship to address. And statement that it is legal for you to own and it can be shipped to you. I am not going to get permission from anyone's bureaucrats before shipping. If you live in one of these places, I'm sorry, don't bid. Shipping will be reduced accordingly for multiple auctions to the same address if possible. See pictures. If you have any questions or want to see more pictures, Please email me. If you don't get a response, lighten up your security on your email. If your email sends out a automated message to click on another link, I will not click on another link to send an email. There is nothing I can do if your computer is blocking email.
