    Q:  Can you tell if the barrel is the orginal 26 inches or has it been cut down? Also at the end of the barrel does it have a W, E, R, HS, or JA above a date? Thanks in advance for responding. Ray 01/29/2012
        A:  barrel is 21 inches has a professional looking crown it has vp in a circle triangler and one in a circle and c on barrel.on the front of the barrel is stamped 34 it has a circle with a circle in it and a wing on it,gun is in very gooid shape for its age bluing is 95 per cent 01/30/2012

    Q:  Your camera seems to have malfunctioned. Can I get some better pictures. Is the barrel original length? Are the slots still in the end of the barrel if I wanted to put an original site back on? Does it say winchester on the action and the barrel? What does the bore look like?         A:  barrel is 21 inches it is winchester model of 1917bore looks goodit looks orignal to me may be a special model but if it has been cut down somebody did a factorie job because it looks like it was never touched to me 02/01/2012
